Greetings,
I am excited to introduce myself as the new principal at Robinson Elementary. I am honored to become part of the Robinson family! We have an amazing school and I am looking forward to serving our scholars, families and community.
I am a third generation educator, following the footsteps of my grandfather and mother, and I have been serving in education for over 25 years. I have worked with students in grades kindergarten through six, in many capacities. I have served as an outdoor science instructional assistant, a classroom teacher, a reading intervention teacher, a class-size reduction teacher, a behavior intervention teacher, a vice- principal and principal. I began my teaching and administrative career in Anaheim, before coming to SVUSD in 2012 to serve as the principal for Linda Vista Elementary. I am thrilled to spend the next stage of my career serving the Robinson community.
I am a proud graduate of the Saddleback Valley Unified School District. I attended de Portola, Montevideo, La Paz Intermediate and Mission Viejo High Schools. Go Diablos! My husband, Heath, and I have been married for 24 years and have two amazing children. Our son, Collin, is a 2019 Laguna Hills High School alumni and will graduate from Florida College with a degree in business this spring. Our daughter, Sophie, is currently a busy sophomore at Laguna Hills High School. Both of my children are musicians and a part of the SVUSD Spanish Immersion program. It may be that they both will become fourth generation educators!
I look forward to our journey together at Robinson!
Respectfully,
Suzy McMasters
